Lucy's passion as a filmmaker began from a young age, and whilst living in Argentina she became fascinated by Hugh's story. As the sun came up one glorious morning on the rooftops of Buenos Aires, the idea for making this film was born and the rest is history. Prior to this film, Lucy has made another independent documentary on abortion and women's rights in Argentina and continues to work as a freelance Producer/Director on factual programmes and big sporting events such as the Olympics and FIFA World Cup.

The man behind this incredible story, Hugh MacDermott, first completed his long ride back in 2004-2006. He came on board to make this documentary with Lucy, revisiting part of his original route with his old friend, Pancho, the horse. Hugh's input has been invaluable from each and every detail and organising the trip itself in order for us to head back into the Tucuman hills on horseback, along with a small camera crew, for him to allow us to become part of his life-making experience.
