WHAT IS MY MONEY GOING TOWARDS?
As an independent filmmaker, I have entirely self-funded the production of this film to date. That includes paying crew, accommodation, guides on the trip and everything from crew lunches to camera equipment, insurance, hard drives and petrol. Your help is absolutely invaluable in supporting the additional expensive parts of the post-production process including professional colour grade, audio mix and editing.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM CONTRIBUTION AMOUNT?
There is no minimum amount. Every little helps and will all add up to help reach our target to get this film over the finishing line. As a filmmaker, I feel stories like these are so important to make, and with the additional funds we will make it the absolute best it can be.
WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS INDEPENDENTLY?
I have spent my life working on projects under the direction of others and during my time living overseas, I really wanted to capture some of that freedom I felt by making something that was entirely directed by myself and was mine and Hugh's vision. In making the film independently, was a way of fulfilling that vision, with complete creativity.
WHERE CAN I SEE THE FINISHED FILM?
We hope to enter the film into a number of festivals where it will be screened in cinemas. Following that, the aim is to have it broadcast on a UK network or hopefully the likes of Netflix or Hulu.
